Who we are / Story
Ashley’s Hope is a Christian Charty that was started by a Parent with an Autistic son. The Charity is governed by a Board of Trustees who are passionate in improve the lives of families from African and Caribbean. We have joined our skills, knowledge and similar aspirations to ensure families from this received the same level of care and support as any other background.
Ashley’s Hope seeks to share the ‘Unconditional Love’ of God that He demonstrated for us through His son Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to remind families of God’s promises of Hope in Him. Knowing that through life’s uncertainty and the hurt in this world; we will find peace in chaos and stability during difficult times. God knows you and your needs very well. At Ashley’s Hope we want to embrace your family and journey alongside you as you care for the unique and special in your family.
Our Values
Ashley’s Hope Charity operates from Christian values that remind us that everyone is special in God’s eyes and there is HOPE FOR ALL in Him.
Kindness- (Ephesians 4:32) – We are tasked to be kind to one another, and tender-hearted. We show compassion by listening actively, creating a space for sharing, caring, praying for families
Hope (Jeremiah 29:11)- We encourage and strengthen families to navigate the challenges associated with Autism condition. In doing this we demonstrate God’s plans for welfare and to give you a future and a hope.

- Who do we support
Unfortunately, this service focused on the African and Caribbean community. Research show that this community has high rate of late diagnoses, often underdiagnosed, prevalence rates of Autism condition. It has also been identified that this community experience significant barriers to support, including cultural stigma, language barriers, and limited awareness.

We operate in England and Sierra Leone West Africa

What do we do/ What support do we offer
Online portal information and advice request on access to diagnosis, early years interventions; statutory service in the community support, therapeutic support for parents and carer; information about your local community activities
Quarterly ‘Shared Table’ -A community interaction event with professional guest speakers; interaction and sensory activities of children; prayer session and therapeutic activities parents/carers
Quarterly Peer led forum support session -Shared Stories and tips of day-to-day practice advice for children and their families
Working with us
As a growing charity we welcome volunteers who are passionate, driven and determined people to join our team to achieve the purpose of the charity.
Love - "love your neighbour as yourself" (Mark 12:30-31). God's instruction is that as he loves use are to replicate this love to overflow to everyone, regardless of who they are of their limitation. Serving the community is one way to show love.
